Cervical elastopography

In our clinic, we perform ultrasound examination by elastography, which consists in examining and evaluating the compactness of the cervix. Elastography is an important part of obstetric examination. It helps to evaluate the uterus and its preparation for childbirth as a result of biochemical and structural changes occurring in it.

The test is designed to assess whether a pregnant woman is at risk for premature delivery.
In addition, elastography is helpful in determining the chance of successful induction of labor and helps pregnant women who need to use other obstetric management to terminate the pregnancy.
