Hysteroscopic examination

Hysteroscopic examination; allows you to determine the size, number, location and nature of pathological changes of the mucous membrane lining the uterus (endometrium). During speculation, the doctor can locate polyps, fibroids, adhesions and cancerous tumors, and also take slices for tissue examination.
 
The indications for the test are:
 • abnormal bleeding of undetermined cause 
 • the need to assess the condition of the endometrium
 • difficulty getting pregnant or obstetric failures 
 • abnormal structures found during ultrasound examination – suspected defects in the 
   structure of the uterus
 • probability of breaking the continuity of the uterine wall 
 • suspicion of intrauterine adhesions
